About Lorie and Styling Food

I am Lorie, a food stylist, and chef based in Portland, Maine where I live with my husband—who is a professional photographer—and two sons, Nolan and Miles. I love cooking delicious food and creating beautiful food images.

I was born and raised in New Jersey, and spent many years in New York City cooking and styling food, before moving to Maine to raise my family.

I have been styling food for 23 years and have assisted in many successful ad and marketing campaigns. I love the process; the food, the light, the art, the clients, the end result. I love what I do.

My work has appeared in books, magazines, online publications, and countless packages.
